CONCEPT
Research Pavilion assumes its interior will be wrong within a decade — labs change faster than buildings. The response is a long-span structural grid with almost no load-bearing partitions, so every internal wall can move without touching the frame. What reads as restraint on the facade is really flexibility on the inside.
A campus research building organised as a repeatable structural bay, designed to be reconfigured as laboratory needs change.
