CONCEPT
Archive Hall's angular envelope is not a formal gesture; it is the storage system turned inside out. Each fold in the facade corresponds to a change in the archival racking depth behind it, so the building's silhouette is effectively a diagram of what it holds. Visitors read the collection's scale before they enter it.
A faceted public archive building whose folded glass-and-steel envelope was generated directly from the storage racking behind it.
