CONCEPT
The brief asked for a gallery, a workshop hall, and a library under one roof; the site offered a steep cross-fall. Concrete Courtyard resolves both by stepping the public ground plane up through the site as a single folded concrete surface, with the three programs arranged around its edges. The courtyard is never fully enclosed — it works as plaza, stage, and threshold at once.
A cultural centre built around a raised concrete courtyard that doubles as an amphitheatre for public programming.
